MULTIMEDIA

Multimedia is an application that is already available in which there is some fusion of elements - elements of information, such as: text, images, animations, video, graphics and sound, and others - others. Where all the elements - elements that information in the mix as well as possible, so that the audience will understand the message or information submitted.

THREE NOVEL MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS.

1. VLC media player 2.2.0

VLC media player release on 2012. VLC media player (commonly known as VLC) is a portable, free and open-source, cross-platform media player and streaming media server written by the VideoLAN project. VLC media player supports many audio and video compression methods and file formats, including DVD-Video, video CD and streaming protocols. It is able to stream media over computer networks and to transcode multimedia files.
The default distribution of VLC includes a large number of free decoding and encoding libraries, avoiding the need for finding/calibrating proprietary plugins. The libavcodec library from the FFmpeg project provides many of VLC's codecs, but the player mainly uses its own muxers, and demuxers. It also has its own protocol implementations. It also gained distinction as the first player to support playback of encrypted DVDs on Linux and OS X by using the libdvdcss DVD decryption library.
After 13 years of development, version 1.0.0 of VLC media player was released on July 7, 2009. Version 2.0.0 of VLC media player was released on February 18, 2012. In 2011 and 2012, large parts of VLC were relicensed to the GNU Lesser General Public License. VLC is first in the sourceforge.net overall download countand has been downloaded more than 1.3 billion times.
VLC is now available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch on Apple's App Store. It was present in the past, was pulled due to a licensing conflict between the GPL and the iTunes Store agreement, but was then resubmitted under the Mozilla Public License. Work began on VLC for Android in 2010 and a beta version for Android devices is now available on the Google Play store. A version for the Windows Store arrived on March 13, 2014. Support for Windows RT, Windows Phone, and possibly the Xbox One are also in development.

2. VIDEO EDIT MAGIC 4.4

Video Edit Magic release on 2007. Video Edit Magic is an easy-to-use video-editing software that allows you to capture video, edit, cut, copy, paste and trim your audio and video.
One of the most powerful features of Video Edit Magic is that it lets you seamlessly cut, copy and paste audio or video clips or even images from one media file to another and join multiple media files, even if these media files are of different file formats, frame rates and display dimensions or have been compressed using different compressors. Video Edit Magic works with AVI, WAV, WMA, WMV, ASF, MPEG, QuickTime, AIFF, AU, SND and MIDI media file formats and BMP, GIF, JPEG and TGA image file formats. You may also increase or decrease the duration of your video clip and change its play speed without needing to change the frame-rate of your video file.
3. Adobe InDesign

Adobe InDesign release juny 2014. Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing software application produced by Adobe Systems. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books. InDesign can also publish content suitable for tablet devices in conjunction with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. Graphic designers and production artists are the principal users, creating and laying out periodical publications, posters, and print media. It also supports export to EPUB and SWF formats to create e-books and digital publications, including digital magazines, and content suitable for consumption on tablet computers. In addition, InDesign supports XML, style sheets and other coding markup, making it suitable for exporting tagged text content for use in other digital and online formats. The Adobe InCopy word processor uses the same formatting engine as InDesign.


Multimedia

Multimedia The incorporation of various forms of media or a combination of the display of various elements - both visual and audio elements. When someone turns on a computer, puts a CD (compact disc) in its CD drive, and listens to her favorite music while she works on a paper, she is experiencing multimedia. Other examples of multimedia usage include looking at pictures taken from a digital camera.



Hypermedia
Hypermedia namely the integration of audio, video, and other media are organized in a system with random presentation. surfing the World Wide Web, following links from one site to another, looking for all types of information, is called experiencing hypermedia.

The major difference between multimedia and hypermedia is that the user is more actively involved in the hypermedia experience, whereas the multimedia experience is more passive, but both are in need and interrelated.
